Set in the year 2099, it is a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world where Hybro-Mechanical species wander the landscape, and revolutionary illusions augmented by a post-industrial electronic music score sucks you into the vortex of the ultimate audio visual fusion.

Criss Angel World of Illusion is a 90-minute fully interactive experience with no boundaries. The entire theater is the stage as it mutates around you and Mother Nature storms throughout. Avant-garde creatures surround you, inanimate objects morph into animated beings and state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics and projection accentuate the illusions, performance art and extreme sports that happen overhead while black panthers roam and crows soar. This is the apotheosis of fantasy for the new millennium... 

Developed over several years, this unique concept is the sole creation of mastermind/visionary Criss Angel. His goal was not only to pioneer a new genre of entertainment, but also to have every element reflect a fresh and innovative approach. Performed live, the illusions have more in common with the special effect wizardry found exclusively in movies than the mundane trick boxes and hoaky presentations synonymous with magicians. Angeldust's music is the driving force behind the spectacle. The original score played live is composed, arranged and produced by Criss Angel and his partner, electronic brainiac Klay Scott. Criss Angel World of Illusion and the music of Angeldust are the freshest and most innovative concept in either magic or music today.

THE MUSIC

 

The driving force behind World of Illusion is an original, post-industrial electronic music score written, produced and arranged by Criss Angel and Klay Scott. The music peaks and valleys without pause through a 90-minute repertoire of songs, dramatic scores and cryptic theme music. The songs and illusions are written with the other in mind from their inception. It goes beyond a movie soundtrack and brings to fruition the ultimate audio/visual experience.

Angeldust's first release on APITRAG unleashes commercially viable songs that blend generated sequences, custom samples, electronic and acoustic instruments and distinctive vocals. Angeldust is simultaneously releasing a second CD which focuses on the post-industrial music score that accompanies the live show. The cryptic opus and ethereal sounds accentuate the entire production as the theater mutates around you and sucks you into a vortex of revolutionary illusions, performance art, avant-garde creatures, animals, extreme sports, hybro-mechanical species, state-of-the-art pyrotechnics, projection and lighting.

As Houdini revolutionized magic for the 20th century, Criss Angel redefines it for the new millennium. 

The Humbodik Figure

Part hybro-mechanical species and part cyborg, it has a human likeness and is constructed from a heterogeneous mixture of industrial parts.

A windstorm blows throughout the theater. A fire burns within a 55-gallon drum. Two 20-foot rusted metal doors are bolted shut. Pieces of the Humbodik Figure litter the stage. You've just entered Criss Angel World of Illusion, an interactive experience which you're in the center of.

Sporadic industrial noise forms into an intense rhythmic pattern; smoke seeps and debris flies into the environment as the theater mutates around you and the corroded metal doors begin to slide open. Inexplicably, the Humbodik Figure's legs come to life. They stand on their own without any human aid and walk to center stage. Suddenly...
